Great customers with great experiences share their EHS consultant with their vendors, clients, friends and family. In return, we’d like to highlight one of our best clients and biggest fans, Stevenson Oil & Chemical.
Sue, President of Stevenson Oil and Company, has been working in the family business for 20 years. What she appreciates most about her job is the relationships she has built with her clients and vendors. “We deliver more than a transaction; it’s the relationship built between the client and myself that makes us different. I’ve worked with some clients throughout their careers at different companies. We’re a family shop. Our clients know who is on the other end of the phone line when they call with a need and they know what to expect.”
Stevenson Oil and Chemical has been in Sue’s family since 1969. Barbara Drake is the principal and Stevenson is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise. However, Stevenson Oil has been serving the greater Cleveland area since 1919 when William E Stevenson noticed a need for quality delivery of lubricants in the local economy and started his own business. Now, Stevenson Oil & Chemical provides an array of industrial fluids including food grade lubricants & food grade machine oil, “environmentally-friendly” oils, greases and gear lubes, synthetic hydraulic oils, way oils, metalworking fluids & coolants, tankside additives & cleaner,; Dowtherm™ and Dowfrost™ heat transfer fluids, industrial greases, Plasma Quench for plasma water tables, and a full line of industrial oils for various manufacturing needs.
Stevenson Oil and Chemical was referred to Compliance Technologies, Inc. through the Strategic Planning Course; both Steve Kovatch, the Owner of CTI, and Sue are graduates of the program which I also completed this past February. Since 2014, CTI has completed their Spill Prevention Controls and Countermeasures Plan, State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) reporting, safety assessments, Site Security Plan, Department of Transportation HazMat training, and Slips, Trips and Falls safety training.
Check out their website and give Sue a call for your lubricant needs.
