The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has proposed an Ohio-specific rule to conditionally exclude hazardous waste contaminated wipes and apparel that are not currently excluded under the solvent wipes rule, OAC rule 3745-51-04(A)(26). The exclusion includes gloves, aprons, smocks, and uniforms that are laundered and returned to service.
Comments on the proposed rule are due July 31, 2018.
Ohio EPA will be holding a public hearing on the revised rule on July 31, 2018, at 10:30 AM at Ohio EPA Central Office, Columbus, Ohio.
