Air and Waste Management Association
AWMA is a national, scientific organization providing its members a portal to technology exchange, research publications, education, and conferences in the environmental field.
Northeast Ohio Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers
NEOCHMM is a local chapter of professionals tested and certified as hazardous materials managers by the Institute of the same name, located in Rockville, MD. Continuing education in the environmental field is the goal of this local organization, which holds monthly meetings featuring speakers with various expertise in the EHS sectors. Annual field visits to various industrial locations enhance members’ experience.
WIRE-Net is an economic development organization with a mission to build relationships among leaders in business and manufacturing, the community, and state and local government, and to draw attention to the unique needs of manufacturing companies that are the foundation of our region’s economy. Membership has grown to over 200 manufacturing and related companies located in Northeast Ohio. They provide expertise that is responsive to manufacturing-related businesses and connects leaders to each other, engaging them in their communities.
Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce
CVCC is a regional business and civic organization through which business members meet to improve local community conditions, including economic, transportation, safety, pollution, and education. Area member communities are Cuyahoga Heights (CTI’s hometown), Independence, Brooklyn Heights, and Valley View.
