Glenn Miller is a Senior Compliance Manager for Compliance Technologies, Inc. (CTI), a professional environmental, health, and safety services Company serving the Midwest. He received his tri-major B.S. degrees in Chemistry, Biology and Music Education from Case Western Reserve University in 1971, M.S. in Clinical Chemistry from Cleveland State University in 1979 and MBA from Baldwin Wallace College in 1992.
Mr. Miller provides a broad range of consulting services to CTI’s clients based on over 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. Along with helping to coordinate CTI’s diverse consulting projects and assisting in CTI’s marketing efforts, he specializes in HazCom programs, dangerous goods handling and labeling (GHS, HMIS and NFPA), transportation compliance (DOT/IATA and IMDG), site audits, global regulatory compliance (REACH, TSCA), Process Safety Management, and training.
Prior to joining CTI in 2013, Mr. Miller was the Materials/ EHS Director and then the Logistics/ EHS Director for 14 years for Research Organics dba SAFC Cleveland. During his tenure, he established their air permits, water discharge compliance, hazardous and universal waste management programs, RCRA and Emergency Response Team training, chemical site security plan, Safety Committee/OSHA training and global transportation compliance programs.
Mr. Miller currently holds certifications in OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Health and Safety Operations, Dangerous Goods Transportation, RCRA, DOT, IATA, IMDG, GHS and CVI (Department of Homeland Security). He also maintains his EHS knowledge by attendance at relevant courses in REACH, Process Safety Management, auditing procedures, risk assessment, and on changes in EPA, OSHA and transportation compliance regulations.
